This past June, I flew solo from Chicago O’Hare to London Heathrow for the first time in two years!
It felt like ages since I had been to my favorite big city in the world.
On this trip, I was excited to see some of my British friends, as well as explore around town with my family (who I was meeting there once I arrived!)
But true to 2022 summer travel lore, it ended up being a longggg travel day (after not getting on the originally planned flight the day prior which is a different story).
I take you along from my home in Chicago to my hotel in Westminster on a day filled with a delayed plane and four trains! Of course, all with the mission of showing you what to expect for overseas travel to Europe right now in economy class!
This vlog includes everything from my airplane meals to navigating the train system through London. It definitely has some good Heathrow Express and London Underground footage!
