MeansToTravel is in the process of relaunching!

This time on meanstotravel.com!

My goal will remain the same as ever:  to focus on meaningful travel, and the means to get there.

Specifically there are several projects in the works. First, I am planning to create a bunch of new blog, video, and social content in the coming months to help everyone with their upcoming travels. Additionally, my husband regularly puts out high-quality photography content on his @mr.meanstotravel handle – definitely worth a follow. Lastly, I am in the process of designing some custom MeansToTravel gear to help fulfill needs that we’ve had on the road – to be sold on Amazon!

As I work diligently on the relaunch, I thought it could be helpful to provide a quick technology update listing what my husband and I have purchased, used, and loved so far this year in 2018. We have taken all three of these products on our recent trips this year to South America, New York, Utah, Indiana, and California, and they have certainly stood up to the field test!

  1.  Bluetooth-enabled Selfie Stick w/ Tripod:  https://amzn.to/2wGCD8t
    • Great for anything from long FaceTimes with family, to recording video at the beach, to taking DIY jumping photos on rugged hikes! It’s so portable and functional!
  2.  Popsocket cell phone grip and mount:  https://amzn.to/2IGhr76
    • Great for taking steady pictures off of balconies, or to prop your cell phone up to watch movies in your airplane seat. We also recently got a car (life change!), so it’s helpful to have the mount when using Google Maps.
  3.  4 TB White My Passport External Hard Drive:  https://amzn.to/2Kko9wP
    • We have found this external hard drive to be small and lightweight for traveling, with an amazing amount of storage space! We also bought a waterproof case to go with it – just in case. Back up back up back up!

Stay tuned for more updates, fellow travelers! Can’t wait to chat with you more soon!
