Hey there! I’m Eliz (short for Elizabeth), and I founded ‘Means To Travel’ in 2018 based on a passion for helping people travel more meaningfully, and find the means to do so!

If you are wanting to learn fun facts about destinations, hear travel product reviews, discuss travel budgeting, and share travel tips, then you’ve landed in the right place!

The Means To Travel universe has blog posts, informatively-captioned photography, YouTube videos, budget templates, Q&A livestreams, and more to help you build informative and indulgent trips.

Which leads me to personally welcome you to the Means To Travel community – a world where I share my thoughts and experiences on smart travel as it relates to every vacationer. I hope you’re here because you mean to travel. If so, I want to help you uncover the means to do so.

 My mission is threefold:

1.  Help adventure-seekers optimize every vacation day and dollar

2.  Share my frequent travel experiences to help guide your trip planning

3.  Infect my readers/viewers with anticipation for their next escape

My tactics are simple:

I will share what has worked, and I will analyze what inspires me!

Derek is my husband! He and I are college sweethearts, and we’ve been together since 2006. He appears in A LOT of my blog posts and videos since we travel together as often as we can!

Additionally, he travels a lot for work (he flew around the world 3.5 times in 2019), so his opinions and experiences are often considered extremely helpful by Means To Travel viewers!
